Monkeytron Collective and Foam Dart Thunder are proud to present the UK’s first Nerf convention: “FOAM FEST”

This will take place on Saturday 9th March at the DW Stadium in Wigan. That day also marks the first FDT Stadium at the same venue – our first English stadium event.

FOAM FEST will showcase the best of UK Nerf with modders, game organisers and tactical gear all represented from our BritNerf family and beyond, and will run from 10am till 2pm.

FDT STADIUM will be running 3 sessions that day, with the first beginning at 1pm, allowing those attending FOAM FEST to take part at either 1pm, 4pm or 7.30pm. Early Bird discount tickets for the stadium event will be available from 21:00 on Wednesday 19th September here.

We’ll have lots more to share with you over the coming months, but for now put Saturday 9th March in your calendar. We look forward to seeing lots of you there, on a momentous day in the history of UK Nerf.

Here’s a preview of what to expect at the FDT Stadium event:

I wanted to put together a collection of my favourite FDT Nerf War footage over the last year since Foam Dart Bunker last August right up to Foam Dart Stadium this June.

Since it’s been a year since Foam Dart Bunker I’ve been reviewing how much we’ve achieved in the last year – we’ve completed 4 Terminal Infection events in that time which is more than I thought we would achieve. To have a successful Stadium event in that time as well is fantastic – as you know we already have our second FDT Stadium event planned in for October, and I’m already speaking to several venues in England about taking the Stadium events down there!

With our first events at both Override skate park in Jarrow, and iCombat in Glasgow, the end of 2018 is going to be amazing.

This Saturday I will be along to Easter Road stadium to hand out promotional flyers before the Hibernian match against Aberdeen. If you see me feel free to stop me for a chat and ask for some FDT stadium stickers 😉

Terminal Infection tickets always sell quickly so to be sure of getting yours make sure you are online at 21:00 this Wednesday. Please note that tickets for the Dawn Patrol (early session) can only be purchased for players 14 and under and their families. This is to give as many younger players as possible the chance to play in the early session. These tickets will be on sale for 2 weeks only, then any remaining will be available to players of all ages.

iCombat Glasgow is a brand new concept for Foam Dart Thunder, utilising a custom built 16,000 sq foot laser tag arena for which we are creating some new scenarios for you to enjoy. We’ll also be laying down smoke with both smoke machines and smoke grenades! With pumping atmospheric music this will create a fantastic environment for Nerf! Please note that this event is only suitable for players 11 and over due to the venue insurance cover.

Our Season 1 champions The Murderous Otterz, seen here with their new custom shirts as their prize for winning Season 1, will be returning to defend their title, as well as their main challengers the Fluffy Rainbow Unicorn Soldiers!

Anyone who hasn’t played before is welcome to a free session this coming Friday – the event runs from 20:00 to 21:00 but players should aim to be on site by 19:45 for registration.

Tickets are on sale for week 1 now – FDT Speedball Week 1 tickets – we hope to see lots of new players for Season 2!

We will be running 2 sessions on Saturday September 29th, 20:00 – 22:00 and 23:00 – 01:00.

Games will be based on the massively popular “Fortnite” scenario Battle Royale. Planning has just started but we wanted to get this one in the calendar for you. Exact game scenarios will be confirmed nearer the time.
