After a short breather, Foam Dart Thunder is officially back — and we’re coming into 2026 with serious momentum.

Last year was huge for us. Bigger venues. Louder battles. Stronger communities. And unforgettable moments shared with thousands of players across our events. But trust us when we say this…

 You haven’t seen anything yet.

I wanted to put together a collection of my favourite FDT Nerf War footage over the last year since Foam Dart Bunker last August right up to Foam Dart Stadium this June.

Since it’s been a year since Foam Dart Bunker I’ve been reviewing how much we’ve achieved in the last year – we’ve completed 4 Terminal Infection events in that time which is more than I thought we would achieve. To have a successful Stadium event in that time as well is fantastic – as you know we already have our second FDT Stadium event planned in for October, and I’m already speaking to several venues in England about taking the Stadium events down there!

With our first events at both Override skate park in Jarrow, and iCombat in Glasgow, the end of 2018 is going to be amazing.

This Saturday I will be along to Easter Road stadium to hand out promotional flyers before the Hibernian match against Aberdeen. If you see me feel free to stop me for a chat and ask for some FDT stadium stickers 😉

In this round it’s the Scientist’s turn to advance deep into Military territory to see if they can progress further than their “enemies” did in the first round. We’ll be carrying over the storyline from this event into out Terminal Infection event in November in Edinburgh. We’re also planning to be back at Scotland’s Secret Bunker next year to complete the storyline! Keep an eye of for details of that!

In this video the Military forces attempt to move barrel’s into the heart of the Scientist’s base. There were 2 rounds played of this game at Foam Dart Bunker, and the whoever won would have a bearing on the first round within the actual bunker itself, though the players weren’t aware of what that bearing was.

We were blessed with nice weather on the night which you can see from the video – which can be an issue with outdoor events n Scotland, even at the tail end of Summer. But it really helped make the event. Keep an eye out soon for Round 2!

We’re hard at work right now planning the Humans v Zombies event at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh which will take place on the 25th November. We now have a FAQ page since we were dealing with so many enquiries. Here’s the link you need to that, but for now please enjoy the trailer!

2 teams, Military and Scientists, were pitted against eachother to discover the secrets of the bunker.

After some outdoor games they descended the tunnel in Foam Dart Thunder’s most atmospheric, nerve jangling and exciting Nerf War to date!

The first pictures are up but there will be many more soon.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes working out the storyline and which games we’ll be playing. I’m pleased to say it’s all coming together nicely and we’ll have some challenges as well as head to head Nerf war!

Also, we’ll have a professional film crew on site throughout the duration of the event, recording not just the games but scenes before the event begins and interviews with players afterwards.

We have some amazing surprises for the players, but I can reveal now that they will be split into 2 teams: Military personnel and Scientists. That’s all I can reveal at this point. The places have been offered to our veteran and loyal players and have all been taken at this point. There’s even a family who attended our first ever event in February 2013! If we have any openings I’ll let everyone know.
